A Web Playground that allows me to polish my HTML and CSS, while improving my JavaScript. A place for me to test combining my SQL with websites and dashboards. Having worked in ecommerce for the last few years, I have good understanding of the impact of a stable and simple website. I also have worked as an analyst in various areas, from social media to sql price queries, algorithms and reports.

Urban Tomato

A website to help people grow tomatoes, tracking sunshine hours, rainfall and forecast the best time to harvest. I want to to use Google maps to geolocate your back garden or balcony and use a place marker to get an exact loaction. Urban Tomato would then be transferable to the rest of the vegtable world.

Rock'n'Roll Bingo

A idea to create a simple bingo cards for some friends of mine who are running Rock'n'Roll Bingo nights. Ideally I would like to render the cards using React and also create a exportable and prinable PDF to allow them to create the bingo cards, previously I cretaed this in an Excel sheet using Visual Basic.

Q & A

Why did you decide to become a web developer?

I have always had a keen interest in logic from days at university studying philosphy. In my last full time job I taught myself SQL and created many reports for sales and logistics departments. It became clear to me that I had hidden talent with code.

Who are your clients?

My first client was my dear wife a freelance food photgrapher. Since then I have worked with many clients in various industries.

What is your average project turnaround?

Obviously it depends on the size of the project, generally I try to turnaround wireframes in the first few days. Then we have 2-3 meetings to dicuss the web templates. Usually 2-3 weeks for a simple four page site.
